Rochester Community Mobile Crisis Team
thru: University of Rochester Medical Center
- Mental health assessments.
- Psychotropic medication assessment and interim management as appropriate.
- Mental hygiene arrests under Article 945.
- Critical Incident Stress Management - is an intervention protocol developed specifically for dealing with traumatic events. It is a recognized process for helping those involved in a critical incident to share their experiences, vent emotions, learn about stress reactions and symptoms and given referral for further help if required.
- Workshops/presentations concerning Mobile Crisis Services and trends in the community.
Language Access
Eligibility: In a mental health crisis by client's, parent's and/or other observer's definition. No age restrictions. Must reside in Monroe County. Not acutely intoxicated on drugs/alcohol. Not currently violent.
Application Process: Through 2-1-1/LIFE LINE or directly calling RCMCT.
Required Documentation: None.
Fees: Third party insurance, in full or partial payment, in most instances. Co-pay may be billed to client. Private Pay. Client is informed that services are billable. No client is refused mobile services due to inability to pay. For those with limited income, financial arrangements may be made by contacting the financial advisers at Strong Memorial Hospital.
