• Facilitates communication between deaf individuals and service providers.

• Provides sign language or oral interpreters, matching skill level of interpreters with communication mode of deaf persons.

• Provides opportunities for interpreters to upgrade their skills.

• Promotes the use of interpreters in the community.

• Provides advocacy for deaf consumers.

Eligibility: Individuals in need of oral or sign language interpreter within Cayuga, Cortland, Jefferson, Onondaga, and Oswego counties.

Application Process: Call to arrange for interpreter.

Fees: No fee to consumers; fee to service providers.
