• Produces and disseminates information leading to increased recognition, prevention, and treatment of problem gambling.
• Conducts and publicly supports research activities to establish and document areas of need.
• Provides free training to healthcare and other professionals to assess and treat persons with gambling-related problems.
• Fosters expanded and improved services for residents adversely affected by gambling.
• Assists industry and business leaders in developing customer- and employee-based problem gambling awareness programs.
• Conducts workshops and conferences.
• Connects individuals to therapy and Gambling Anonymous (GA) services.
